- Robinson Pharma has spent more than $115 million on two Southern California industrial properties in eight months, adding close to 350,000 square feet of manufacturing and warehousing space.
- The company received USP certification following the launch of the second site, an Irvine facility that becomes its tenth production and warehouse location.
Robinson Pharma, a contract manufacturer of dietary supplements and nutraceuticals, has completed two Southern California property acquisitions worth more than $115 million and received United States Pharmacopeia (USP) certification, the company said on September 9. The purchases add nearly 350,000 square feet of production and warehousing capacity and push the Santa Ana-based company’s regional footprint past one million square feet
The larger of the two deals closed in August 2026, when Robinson Pharma paid $75 million for a 261,000-square-foot industrial facility at 2323 Main Street in Irvine, near John Wayne Airport. The company describes it as its largest real estate transaction to date and its first major site outside its Santa Ana base. It becomes the tenth warehouse and production hub in the company’s network.
The first acquisition came in December 2025, when Robinson Pharma bought a newly built 82,241-square-foot industrial building at 3130 South Fairview Street in Santa Ana for roughly $40.7 million. The company attributes the back-to-back purchases to rising demand for custom supplement formulations, though it did not release volume figures or client numbers to support that.
USP certification followed audits conducted after the Irvine property closed. It adds to existing registrations and audits from the FDA, NSF GRMA, UL GMP, SQF, CCOF and SCCI. For nutraceutical brands weighing contract manufacturing partners, the certification covers manufacturing lines, raw material controls and finished product standards, an area where verification varies widely across the supplement CDMO market.
“Our massive infrastructure investment over the last eight months reflects our absolute commitment to our clients’ growth and the safety of the consumers they serve,” said a Robinson Pharma representative, who was not named in the announcement. “Securing the Irvine airport facility gives us the physical capacity to scale throughput across all of our core formats, including softgels, tablets, capsules, powders, and liquids.” Robinson Pharma was founded in 1989 and manufactures softgels, veggie softgels, tablets, capsules, powders and liquids.
